Hey man, sorry I missed you. If you're going to SCAD, I dont know what you're looking to major in, but start building your portfolio specifically towards that. I was told, when I showed my portfolio at the SCAD day in Denver, that they only really want to see work that is directly related to the major you want to go into, and to be honest, it's a very expensive school and the more scholarship dollars you can get the better.
